City Of Buffalo To Continue Snow Removal Wednesday

Buffalo's City Hall has been busy answering calls from residents concerned that snow removal is taking longer than they are accustomed to on secondary and lesser streets.

City Clerk Julie Silbernagel said city crews were busy Monday and Tuesday with main thoroughfares in the city, but that they would be back to clearing snow from other city streets very early Wednesday.

She said so far the main roads have been the focus for crews, and the fact that school is out for Christmas Break has meant those school snow routes have not been as high a priority as they would be if schools were in session.

A City Of Buffalo snow route map has been provided with this story online at, so residents can be aware of the streets and their priorities for snow removal.

Snow removal on the city's streets will continue throughout the week.
