City Council Meeting Set for Tuesday

The second regularly scheduled Sheridan City Council of February will be on Tuesday due to President’s Day on Monday. According to Mayor Roger Miller, the meeting will have a Public Hearing regarding a truck stop using a full retail liquor license for the first time in Sheridan right after the roll call of members.

Anyone that would like to comment for or against the approval of the liquor license transfer should come to the meeting and share their input.

The Council will decide whether or not to approve the transfer later in the meeting. Also on the agenda for Tuesday, Sheridan Police Chief Rich Adriaens will introduce the new drug detection dogs and Jim Harmon, the city's Financial Service Director, will provide a sales tax update. Sheridan City Council meeting are open to the public and take place starting at 7pm in the third floor council chambers of city hall.
