City Council Preview

The Sheridan City Council will meet for their second regularly scheduled meeting of the month on Monday. According to Mayor Roger Miller, the meeting will start off with a public hearing on a budget amendment regarding funds to the Critical Air Service Team better known as CAST.

If approved, the $100,000 of extra funding would make the city’s total contribution to CAST for the year $250,000. Mayor Miller said that CAST is also asking for the city to provide $250,000 on next year’s budget. Later in the meeting, the Mayor and Council will decide whether or not to approve the funds. They will also be asked to accept the Developed Area of the Kendrick Park Master Plan.
