The process of crafting a budget for the City of Sheridan for the upcoming fiscal year is underway. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.

City of Sheridan Administrator Mark Collins recently updated the Sheridan City Council and the Mayor on the prep work that has been taking place on building the budget for the fiscal year that begins on July 1. Collins provided a timeline for the Council.

Collins said that the Council and Mayor will be receiving their budget binders by no later than May 10, and that a budget work session would be scheduled approximately a week after the budget binders are distributed. The budget for the upcoming fiscal year is expected to be considered and adopted by the Council at their second meeting in June.
