Freezing temperatures overnight Tuesday and into early Wednesday morning was the major factor in numerous reported crashes on roads, streets and the Interstate Highway system all over northeast Wyoming, according to Ronda Holwell, Public Involvement Specialist with the Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT).

One of the crashes was a rollover at the I-90/I-25 interchange just north of Buffalo Wednesday morning.
Holwell said although that crash, like many in the region Wednesday morning resulted in those involved being transported to area hospitals, none of the injuries were serious.

Holwell said that motorists should use common sense during times when weather may affect driving conditions.

Holwell wanted to remind drivers to “just drive cautiously.”
