College District Trustees Approve Budget

The Northern Wyoming Community College District Board of Trustees approved the budget for the fiscal year that began on July 1 at their meeting Wednesday night. The total expenditure budget for the fiscal year is in the amount of $78.4 million, with an operating fund of $28.2 million. Sheridan College President Dr. Paul Young said via tele-conference, that the numbers had not changed since trustees held a budget workshop prior to last month’s regularly scheduled board meeting.

Also from the meeting, at the request of administration, the board approved on first and final reading to redesign the two-year degree from an Associate of Applied Science, to an Associate Degree in Nursing.
