Funding for enrollment growth was a topic addressed by Sheridan College President Dr. Paul Young during Tuesday’s Legislative Forum at Sheridan City Hall. Young said he was pleased that Governor Matt Mead’s budget proposal included funding for enrollment growth.

Young also talked about the Collaborative High School, which is a school that would serve at-risk students from all three Sheridan County school districts as well as the district in Johnson County, and be located on the Sheridan College campus. Young said although the funds for the facility have not yet been approved by the state, they intend to move forward with a pilot version of the program, despite the funding setback with the facility. We’ll have more on that story for you in the coming days.
