Coming Back Home to Buffalo

Saturday an Open House was held at the new Purcella’s Meat Processing in Buffalo and Sheridan Media’s Judy Hagerott was there and brings us the story.

Five years in the planning, Brandon and Dallas Purcella now see the end goal in sight. Purcella’s Meat Processing held an open house Saturday in Buffalo to invite the public to see a dream come true.

Brandon said it was time to return home.

Newly married, Brandon had a hard time finding work in Buffalo’s slow economy, but 25 years later, a sluggish economy in Arizona brought them back home.

The new meat processing facility is the only state inspected plant in northern Wyoming. Nearly done, it totals 6000 square feet and Dallas described the layout.

Plans are have 7 to 8 full-time employees including an experienced butcher, more as hunting season rolls around. Future plans also include a retail space for locally inspected meat.

The Purcella’s are glad to be home.

Both have their own personal goals for the business.

Purcella’s Meat Processing should be open in the next two weeks.
