Commission Amends Internal Revenue Code Resolution

In 2009, under a requirement by the Wyoming Retirement System, Sheridan County passed a resolution that identified that the County was contributing to the system the employee's portion of the Wyoming Retirement contribution.

Sheridan County Commissioners Tuesday gave their approval to amend a section of the Internal Revenue Code pertaining to the percentage amount of employer/employee contributions to the Wyoming Retirement System. County Administrative Director Renee Obermueller.

The Commission adopted a similar amendment to the section of code pertaining to law enforcement where the County will contribute 1.40 percent of the 8.6 percent portion of the contribution required of the law enforcement employee by the Wyoming Retirement Act.
