Commissioners Take Care of 'Housekeeping' During Meeting

Johnson County's Commissioners attended to some minor “housekeeping” duties at this week's regular meeting.

The commissioners voted to approve paying nearly $321,000 in vouchers for the month.

A one-day catering permit for a family party at the County Fairgrounds' Community Building was approved by the commission. The Cowboy Saloon will cater the party on Sunday, April 30th.

And they convened as the County Board of Equalization (BOE) long enough to approve the meeting minutes from the previous BOE meeting on March 21st, before re-convening the regular commission meeting.

The commissioners also retired into an executive session to discuss possible litigation concerning a county subdivision.
