Concert to Celebrate Ten Years Of The Occidental Jam

The Occidental Hotel Thursday Night Jam will celebrate its ten year anniversary with a concert featuring local and regional musicians, songwriters and entertainers coming together to raise funds for a local scholarship.

The “More Than Music Concert” will be Saturday, October 15th at the Bomber Mountain Civic Center and will feature entertainers Laurie Lewis and Tim Rozum; Jalan Crossland; and songwriters Brice Long and Kostas, who have written hit songs for the likes of Garth Brooks, Dwight Yoakum and Patty Loveless.

Other local musicians and bands scheduled to perform include “Too Wet To Plow,” “The Fireants,” “Rick Geisler & the Band of Outlaws,” “Sage Palser,” and The Occidental Orchestra.

In celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the Occidental's Thursday Night Jam, the concert will raise funds for the Dan Carlat-Occidental Jam Memorial Scholarship Fund.

Tickets for the concert are $20 each and are available in Buffalo at the
Occidental Hotel, Buffalo Chamber of Commerce, The Sports Lure, Gigi’s Upscale Resale and First Northern Bank. In Sheridan at C&B Music and in Gillette at Haggerty’s Musicworks. Tickets can also be purchased online at www.carlatscholar.com.
Kids 12 and under are free to attend.

The doors will open at 6, with the concert set to begin at 7 and last until about 10:30 that evening.

Food and beverage will be available at the event.
