The Sheridan City Council Tuesday held a special meeting to approve the guaranteed maximum price of $4.25 million to Dick Anderson Construction for the Sheridan Senior Center Food Service and Remodel project.

The City of Sheridan has designated $120,000 from the Economic Development Optional One-Cent Fund for the project and has received a $1 million grant from the Wyoming Business Council.

The Senior Center, through their Celebrating Generations and Building Community Capital Campaign, has raised the additional $3.13 million needed for the project. Senior Center Development Director Rindy West says the project will encompass the entire Senior Center.

West said there is an aggressive timeline for completion of the project.

West said that they are anticipating the project to be completed by the end of next year.
