Sheridan City Council President Shelleen Smith has announced that she will seek reelection to the Council. Smith stopped by Sheridan Media to discuss why she chose to run for another term.

Smith said that if elected, she’d like to continue to work on strengthening Sheridan’s economy.

Smith has served on the Council since January of 2013, and has been council president for the past year and a half. She was also on the City’s Planning Commission prior to her time on the Council and has served as President of the North Main Association.

There are three seats up for election this year on the Council that are currently held by Smith, Kristin Kelly and Thayer Shafer.
