The four tennis courts along with the warm-up and pickle ball areas at Thorne-Rider Park have recently been resurfaced. Sheridan Recreation District Executive Director Richard Wright says that they are eying the possibility of having a couple of the courts available for use year round.
Wright added that they have to resurface the courts every 4 to 5 years and that enclosing a couple of the courts would not only provide year-round tennis in Sheridan, it would also save the Rec. District a significant amount of money.
