Daniels Fund announces over $1 million in grants for Wyoming nonprofits.
The Daniels Fund has announced that they've awarded $1.1 million in grants to over 10 nonprofits in Wyoming. One of the recipients is Volunteers of America Northern Rockies in Sheridan. Daniels Fund Spokesman Peter says that they look at a number of different things when considering who received the grant funding.
The exact amount that VOA received was not made available, as the Daniels Fund does not disclose how much each individual organization receives. Droege said that they will be announcing their scholarship recipients in April. Every year, the Daniels Fund awards high school students in Wyoming who are in financial need scholarships to attend any university of their choice.
