Democratic Candidates for the Wyoming House Request Release of Public Lands Study

Democratic Candidates for Wyoming’s House of Representatives Sandra Kingsley District 29, Hollis Hackman District 51, and Val Burgess District 30, are concerned that the Wyoming Select Federal Natural resources Management Committee are unnecessarily withholding the results of a study that will influence future decisions made on public lands. Hackman said the study was authorized by Senate File 56.

Kingsley explained that the candidates feel that the period of time between the receipt of the finished study by the state and its release are suspicious in an election year.

Burgess also shared her feelings about why the study should be released pre-election.

The three candidates have co-signed and mailed a letter to the committee requesting the release of the report immediately.
