The Wyoming Department of Education will be holding a series of “listening sessions” throughout the state to garner public input as the Statewide Digital Learning Plan is being prepared for presentation to school districts and legislators.

According to a news release from the Wyoming Department of Education, the SDLP is a five year comprehensive technology plan to improve student access to digital learning opportunities. Team Supervisor Laurel Ballard said “Wyoming has emerged as a leader in broadband connectivity, and our next step is to complete a comprehensive digital learning plan for education.”

The tour will begin Monday in Evanston, and will finish February 10 in Cheyenne. The listening session in Sheridan will take place February 3, from 4 to 6 in the Sheridan County School District #2 Central Office board room.
