Hundreds of people lined Buffalo's Main Street Friday morning for the fifth annual Longmire Days parade.

Vehicles moved slowly, stopping frequently for spectators who wanted a chance to take close-up photos and talk to the stars of the popular television show. Many were from out-of-state, like Janice Pringle and her daughter, Melissa Gibbs, who came up from Texas to attend this year's Longmire Days event.

Mother and daughter wore matching “I heart Longmire” tee shirts that Gibbs made. Pringle explained.

Pringle said she became introduced to Longmire through the books of Ucross author Craig Johnson.

Another parade-goer was Linda Roselius, who came up from Fort Collins, Colo.

Longmire Days continues Saturday with a pancake breakfast served from 7 til 10 by the Kiwanis Club, Native American performances, screenings of episodes at the Buffalo theater, an autograph session and a street dance starting at 6 p.m.
