DSA Reports Busy Year

The Downtown Sheridan Association is having a really busy year, according to Executive Director Zoila Perry.

Perry reported on the organization's activities – both those that have already happened and the ones yet to come – at the DSA's annual meeting Wednesday.

Perry said the Men's Night will be in December. She said the organization's design committee is working on enhancing business facades, and the DSA is working on an information kiosk.

Big events include a wine fest in March, and Perry noted that the Goose Creek Cup fundraiser is coming up this weekend. The DSA also has farmers markets on a weekly basis.

Also during the annual meeting, the DSA board confirmed three new directors – Jonny Law, Janie Magelky and Paula Whitworth – and reconfirmed terms for current directors Peg Martin, Megan Cook, Chris Carroll and Spencer Kraft. Martin is president of the DSA board, and Cook treasurer.
