‘Dueling Piano’ Proceeds to Pay for Patton Pavilion

A type of theater in the round will set the stage for the Dueling Pianos show this weekend in Sheridan.

Sasha Johnston of the Rotary club that’s sponsoring the event said the spectators will be seated at tables positioned around the stage.

That venue is the exhibit hall at the Sheridan County Fairgrounds in Sheridan. Tickets are still available, she said, at a price of $50 in advance at Sheridan County Title or $60 at the door. And the musicians, she said, are really fun.

She said the proceeds will help pay for a new pavilion at the fairgrounds.

Patton was also a long-time state legislator from Sheridan, who died last year. Doors for the event open at 7, and showtime is 8 o’clock. We did talk to one of the dueling pianists. That story will be broadcast in tomorrow’s news lineup.
