The Dueling Pianos showmen brought down the house for their weekend performance in Sheridan. Leslie Stratmoen has the report.

Playing and singing a vast repertoire of songs, the Dueling Pianos duo, Ryno and Andy Gibson, had their audience Friday night at the Rotary club fundraiser in Sheridan, laughing at their antics, singing along, dancing in the aisles and awed with their ability to perform every song that was requested.

They weren’t dueling against each other, as one might think, but dueling against the audience because money backed requests made to try and stump the band. Their antics included Ryno performing a rendition of a song from a film comedy.

One of the sing-a-longs was to Journey’s, “Faithfully.”

And it was Gibson who awestruck the crowd when he took on the challenge of singing Adele’s latest hit song, “Hello.”

But they brought down the house and had people up dancing when their backup musician, Dan Witte, jumped off the stage and fiddled, “The Devil Went Down to Georgia.”

And with that song as their finale, leaving the crowd wanting more, they said get your song lists ready because we’ve already been booked for next year. So, we’ll be back.
