Candidates or their representatives for Wyoming governor, the U.S. House and U.S. Senate met with Sheridan area residents in a meet-n-greet at the Sheridan Eagles Aerie 186 on Main Street Wednesday night.

No formal program was presented, but Eagles member Mona Hansen said the event provided a chance for candidates to mingle with the crowd and answer questions posed by individuals. Hansen elaborated on what's prompted the Eagles to hold events such as this.

Plus, she said, she has a personal interest.

She said the meet-n-greet was a chance for people to visit with the individual candidates so they could be better informed when they cast their ballots in this year's primaries. Election day is Aug. 21.
