Ex-Casper Pharmacist Sentenced On Drug Charge

CASPER, Wyo. (AP) - A pharmacist accused of taking more than 3,000 doses of drugs from Mountain View Regional Hospital has been sentenced to five years of supervised probation. The Casper Star-Tribune reports that 41-year-old Kimberly Nimmo pleaded guilty in July to one count of possession of more than three grams of a controlled substance.
Judge Thomas Sullins Friday sentenced Nimmo to probation as part of a plea deal in which prosecutors agreed dropped other charges stemming from her time as pharmacy director at the hospital in 2008. Sullins declined a defense proposal that the charge not be on Nimmo's record once she completes probation.
