Fairgrounds Director Reports 'Enormous' Summer

The Sheridan County Fairgrounds has just finished an enormous summer in terms of use, according to Facilities Director Jamie Ringley.

Ringley made his report at Thursday night's meeting of the Sheridan County Fair Association board of trustees. He said the fairgrounds had a full house the weekend of the college rodeo, with all 157 stalls in use. Ringley said the Elks Gun Show was at the fairgrounds that same weekend.

Ringley said the fairgrounds are basically winding up the season, and fairgrounds crews are getting ready for winter. Work includes winterizing the water lines. The board's next meeting will be Nov. 10.
