Fall Gathering Benefits Gatchell Museum's Endowment

Jim Gatchell Memorial Museum

A limited number of tickets are still available for the 23rd annual Jim Gatchell Memorial Museum's Fall Gathering fundraiser, happening Saturday night at the Johnson County Fairgrounds.

Tickets for the dinner and auction are $30 per person, and are still available from any Jim Gatchell Board Member, the museum itself, or at the door the night of the event.

The Fall Gathering will feature dinner and silent and live auctions to raise money in support the museum, according to Museum Director Sylvia Bruner.

Dinner, a beef brisket with trimmings, will be provided by the TA Guest Ranch, and refreshments will be offered by Crazy Woman Liquors and Clear Creek Brewing Company.

Silent and live auctions will also be offered, with items including a signed Hans Kleiber waterfowl etching, a steak lover's meat bundle from Sackett's Market, and gift certificates for bird hunting.

Live music and entertainment will be provided by “Mike & Pat,” and Bruner explains who the two entertainers are.

The 23rd annual Jim Gatchell Museum Fall Gathering will be this Saturday night beginning at 6pm, and is sponsored in part by Sheridan Media.
