Looking at the large number of certificate programs available at Sheridan College, Sheridan Media’s Judy Hagerott brings us this story on Culinary Arts Program.

Sheridan College’s Culinary Arts Program is turning out some of the best chefs in the area. Year after year, the program is experiencing exponential growth teaching students everything in the kitchen from ordering food to becoming a line cook, sous chef, and even a chef.

The program focuses on four cuisines throughout the school year: classical, international, classic French and North American. Chef Instructor R.J. Rodgers said they are turning out some great cooks.

Now, until the school year ends, the Wyoming Culinary Institute located on South Sheridan Ave., is open to the public and will feature the North American Cuisine which Chef Rodgers described.

Dan Rieder was enjoying lunch at the Culinary Institute and said there’s just one downfall.

The final result is priceless for Rodgers.

The Wyoming Culinary is open for lunch and dinner on Thursdays and Fridays during the school year.
