First Interstate Bank Announces New President of Downtown Branch

First Interstate Bank in Sheridan has announced that David Hubert has been named the new Bank President of the Downtown Branch. According to information released by First Interstate, Hubert moved to Sheridan in 2002, where he began working at First Interstate Bank. He advanced through several lending roles in the Sheridan Market and was promoted to President of the Sheridan/Sugarland Branch in 2012. Prior to banking, Hubert spent five years in the financial software industry as a project manager.

He grew up in Laramie and graduated from the University of Wyoming with a Bachelor and Masters in Finance. He is also a graduate of Pacific Coast Banking School and a past president of the Sheridan Rotary Club. Hubert currently serves on the Downtown Development Authority, the WYO Theater Board , and the Sheridan Rotary Board.

Hubert replaces Mark Kinner, who was recently appointed to serve as State Representative for House District 29, following the death of Representative John Patton.
