Fundraiser to Lay Down More Roots in Sheridan County and Beyond

On Saturday, Sheridan County non-profit Rooted in Wyoming will hold their 2nd Annual Farm to Table Hoe-Down Fundraiser in hopes to continue their garden programs in schools and places of education in communities across the state. According to Rooted Executive Director Bonnie Gregory, the program has already created gardens for 6 local organizations.

Gregory said that garden projects at Highland Park and Meadowlark Schools as well as at Normative Services are in the works now and all proceeds from Saturday’s Hoe-Down go to the non profit goal of expansion. All are welcome to attend the event at the Lazy JA Ranch from 12-4pm on Saturday. Tickets can be purchased at the gate.
