Wyoming's Governor Matt Mead stopped in Sheridan Monday afternoon for a tour of three companies – Emit, Vacutech and Ptolemy.

Sheridan's Mayor David Kinskey, who organized the tour, said he wanted to give the governor an idea of the type of manufacturing that's going on in town.

Gov. Mead said he had a great day and learned a lot.

The governor was giving his wrap on his visit just before flying out of the Big Horn airport, at which time the Mayor presented a special desktop spur made by local artist Tom Balding.

He said he'll be sure to share what he learned today with the next county official he visits with and with state legislators in Cheyenne.
