Grammy Winning Muir String Quartet Performs Wednesday

The Whitney Center for the Arts Concert Hall will host the Grammy award winning Muir Quartet on Wednesday night. According to the Center’s Director Dr. Erin Hanke, the group will be providing a master class for students as well.

Dr. Hanke said that you can also get tickets at the door. She said that the Quartet will play mostly classical pieces, but not exclusively. Hanke also included that the group will be joined by flutist Carol Wincenc who just celebrated her 25th year as a faculty member of The Juilliard School. The Muir String Quartet is now in their 38th season of performing.
