Habitat's Annual Garage Sale This Weekend In Buffalo

Habitat For Humanity of Johnson County will have their annual Garage Sale this Thursday through Sunday at the Johnson County Fairgrounds just north of Buffalo.

The garage sale is the local Habitat chapter's biggest fundraiser for the year, with proceeds collected going to help build affordable housing in and around the Buffalo Community.

The weekend kicks off Thursday evening with the “Early Bird” shopping event. From 5 to 8pm.
With a $10 donation per family, they can browse the items before the official opening of the garage sale on Friday morning, assuring first pick on the items.

Friday and Saturday, the doors will be open from 9 to 4 both days, and Sunday they will be open from 11 to 4, with all items marked half off.
No admission fees are charged Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.

Four buildings will be filled with slightly used items including housewares, tools, building supplies, furniture, and clothing will be available all weekend, with more items brought in from storage as the items in stock are sold.
The inventory is constantly changing.

Again all proceeds go to help build affordable homes in the local area.
