Halloween Fun for High Schoolers

Posted in

The first-ever Halloween Boo Bash will be held this Saturday, October 29th, for high school students, grades 9-12. The Boo Bash will be held at the fairgrounds and Sheridan Media’s Judy Hagerott brings us the story.

The lament heard from area teenagers through the years has been there’s nothing to do in Sheridan. This Sheridan mom has decided to do something about it, this Halloween season.

The Boo Bash is the brainchild of Skye Heren and she explained.

Open to all high school students in Sheridan and Johnson Counties, this mom has put her money where her mouth is.

Dubbed as a Halloween dance and costume party with all the trimmings including a DJ, door prizes, and costume contests with cash prizes, food trucks will also be on hand. To reassure parents, the Sheridan Police Department will also be a presence.

She did add these restrictions.

Cost for the event is $10. The event begins at 7:30, Saturday the 29th and ends at 11:30.
