Since Sheridan Memorial Hospital staff took over the Gould Street location in January, more than 60 groups have used the large community room that's available on the site.

Laura Lehan, who's the hospital's chief development officer, said the meeting room is made available to nonprofit organizations and community groups.

She said 70 people can be seated comfortably in the community room.

In addition to the large event room, the Gould Street building also has some smaller conference rooms for staff. Located just off Main Street at the corner of Gould and Works streets, the downtown Sheridan site includes the patient billing offices for Sheridan Memorial Hospital and the Big Horn Health Network, health information management offices, the hospital foundation offices, marketing and community relations and the hospital's accounting and finance offices.

Lehan said patients also can sign up at the Gould Street site for My Sheridan Health, which is the online patient portal.

She said the Gould Street site provides easier access for hospital patients, with ample parking at both entrances as well as two large parking lots, one to the west and the other to the south of the building. The offices are open from 8 a.m. Until 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.
