Improving Education in Wyoming

Wyoming spends upwards of $9,000 per student a year more than some of our neighboring states do in k-12 education.

There are some that feel spending more hasn’t materialized in the form of a better education for students. While a guest on our news talk show Public Pulse, Sheridan County School District Two Superintendent Craig Dougherty says that District Two is taking steps to improve education statewide.

District Two Assistant Superintendent Scott Stults feels that lowering the per pupil spending in the State hurts school districts like District Two, who are achieving student success.
