An inmate of the state’s medium security prison in Torrington, formerly of Sheridan, has died.
Douglas Howard Craft, who was in his fifth year of a possible 20-50-year sentence for sexual exploitation and sexual abuse of a minor, died on Saturday. The announcement comes from Mark Horan of the Wyoming Department of Corrections.
According to the release, Craft was sentenced in 2011 in Campbell County court to 6-8 years for sexual exploitation of a child -- possession of pornography. Then, a year later, out of the same court, for two counts of sexual abuse of a minor in the first degree and one count of sexual abuse of a minor in the second degree. All sentences were to have been served consecutively. As per departmental policy, an autopsy has been ordered.
