Judge Grants Continuance in Drug Case

A pre-trial conference for 29-year-old Amanda Snay of Casper was held Thursday in Fourth Judicial District Court in Sheridan.

District Court Judge John Fenn granted the defendant's request for a continuance so that she can have surgery to correct an ailing hip. Judge Fenn reminded Snay, who’s out on bond, that she must continue to be in contact with her attorney Erin Wardell, and that she must attend any future court hearings regarding her case. Fenn did not set a new trial date, but he said that a 2-day trial date will be set within the next few days.

Snay is charged with two felonies, Conspiracy to Deliver a Controlled Substance- Methamphetamine, and Possession of Controlled Substance With Intent to Deliver. She was arrested in May for the alleged crimes.
