Learn To Be Safe When Encountering Bears, Lions, Wolves

For those interested in learning to live with bears, lions, and wolves there will be a seminar offered this Thursday, April 3rd at the Campbell County Public Library at 2101 South 4-J Road in Gillette from 6 to 8pm, entitled “Staying Safe in Bear, Lion, and Wolf Country.”

The purpose of the Game and Fish seminar is to increase the participant's awareness and understanding of the three predators, and give them information and tools on how to avoid dangerous situations and avoid future conflicts.

The presentation will feature behavior and biology, safety and legal issues, and focus on what one would do in an encounter situation, what to do to reduce the likelihood of an encounter and the most current information on the use of bear spray.

Before heading into Wyoming's wilds this summer, learn how to stay safe in predator country.

These seminars are free and open to the public.
