Local and area residents get a chance to show off their skills in events including ribbon calf roping, pole bending and goat-tying in the Sheridan County Rodeo this weekend.

Performances started Friday night and were held again at 1 and 7 p.m. Saturday. A final performance is at 1 p.m. today. All performances are at the Sheridan County Fairgrounds.

Admission is $5 for adults, free for children 12 and under. County Rodeo Board President Terry Lenhart said the event is a chance for people to get a peek at locals giving their best.
