A Look Back in Time: April 1, 1916

Now here's Sheridan Media's look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on April 1, 1916.

The City Cleaning and Dyeing company is moving from the old location at South Scott and East Loucks street to 238 West Brundage street. The company isn't taking any new business until Monday.

Master Mechanic Felix Kennedy left today for Chicago, where he will attend the annual meeting of the operating officers of the Burlington system. F. Cone, who is superintendent of the Sheridan division, will also be present at the meeting in Chicago.

Mrs. James McCoy, retiring president of the Taylor Custer P.T.A., was pleasantly surprised yesterday evening by the ladies of the association, who assembled at her home. In token of their appreciation for her efforts, Mrs. McCoy was presented with a handsome souvenir spoon very suitably engraved with the letters “P.T.A.”
