A Look Back in Time: April 30, 1916

Now here's Sheridan Media's look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on April 30, 1916.


The annual exhibits of art created by Sheridan school children open this afternoon at the Coffeen avenue, Linden and Custer schools. Exhibits at the Taylor, Hill and Central schools and the manual training and domestic science exhibit at the high school will be held two weeks from Friday and Sunday.

Reed's in downtown Sheridan has the smartest of the smartly new spring suits for women on sale this week for $25. Also on sale, the new washable silks for dresses or waists, in a handsome variety of styles, are 85 cents a yard.

The Golden Rule store has the new fiber silk sports sweaters specially priced at $5.98.
