A Look Back in Time: Dec. 17, 1919

Now here's Sheridan Media's look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Dec. 17, 1919.

Thomas Strand of Big Horn is a visitor in Sheridan. Also in Sheridan today are Clyde Harper and Harry Surrena, both from Banner.

H. H. Luke of Dayton is in Sheridan today attending to business matters.

The maximum temperature yesterday was 45 above.

C. P. Fowler from Jim Creek is in the city. He reports that a considerable number of livestock were dying on the range in that vicinity as a result of exposure from the cold and lack of feed.

Sheridan County residents have 14 more days in which to pay their taxes and get their 1920 automobile licenses.
