A Look Back in Time: Jan. 21, 1920

Now here's Sheridan Media's look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Jan. 21, 1920.

Sheridan County Assessor John X. Morris has returned from a meeting of the state board of equalization in Cheyenne. He reports that valuations in Sheridan county will remain unchanged during the present year.

Articles of incorporation have been filed under the name of the Sheridan-Wyoming Coal company for the $8 million company that took over the Sheridan field. The incorporation follows the consolidation of Jan. 1.

George N. Ostrom of Sheridan has made a number of well-executed posters advertising the Custer Battlefield Hiway, the scenic route to the west.

A 48-pound sack of cream flour is $3.25 at The Sheridan Commercial Company.
