A Look Back in Time: Mar. 27, 1919

Now here's Sheridan Media's look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Mar. 27, 1919.

Tentative plans for the observance of Good Roads Day were outlined at a meeting of the Story Good Roads Club at Story last night. The day will be devoted to repairing surface conditions of the road to Story.

The local poultry association, which first endorsed the county fair and has done much to keep the fair from being discontinued, has been declared heartily back of the movement and will do all it can, financially and otherwise, to have a county fair and make it a success.

Jack Barry of Parkman is in Sheridan today on matters of business. Also in Sheridan today is L.L. Pate of Ranchester.

The interior of the Sheridan Fruit Store is being renovated with a fresh coat of paint and paper.
