A Look Back in Time: March 26, 1916

Now here's Sheridan Media's look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on March 26, 1916.

Five head of horses, a cow, three wagons and farming implements belonging to George Webber, a beet farmer at Ranchester, were sold at a sheriff's sale in front of the courthouse in Sheridan yesterday.

The sale at Reed's continues tomorrow. Striped taffeta silks in a great variety for dresses or waists, widths to 36 inches, are $1.25 a yard. Checked suitings in black and white are down to 65 cents a yard, and cream serges for fashionable suits are 89 cents a yard.

The Methodist revival continues tonight in Sheridan, featuring Dr. Kendall, and the Brotherhood quartet. The meetings are going forward with increasing interest.
