A Look Back in Time: May 29, 1916

Now here's Sheridan Media's look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on May 29, 1916.

The largest class in the history of the state of Wyoming, 54 students from Sheridan High School, graduated last night in ceremonies at the Episcopal church.

Banks and business houses of the city will be closed tomorrow in observation of Memorial day. The drug stores will close at noon and remain closed until 5:30. A procession will form at Alger avenue promptly at 9 and proceed to the cemetery where it will deploy around the monumental shaft in the Grand Army of the Republic plot.

P.W. Ratcliff & Brother have started construction of an addition to their blacksmith shop and garage. The addition will be used for automobile storage and repair work.
