A Look Back in Time: Nov. 14, 1919

Now here's Sheridan Media's look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Nov. 14, 1919.

Stocking caps for boys and girls, all wool and a good color selection, are priced 75 cents and $1 at Sheridan’s Golden Rule store.

Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Lewis of Buffalo spent yesterday in Sheridan. They returned to Buffalo this morning by automobile.

The end of the second week finds the strike situation in the Sheridan coal field unchanged. The mines are all closed, and the strike continues.

S. N. Moses is in Sheridan from the Flying V ranch to make arrangements for the shipment of 1,000 cattle to the Pine Ridge agency for the winter. The cattle will reach the city today.
