A Look Back in Time: Nov. 29, 1919

Now here's Sheridan Media's look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Nov. 29, 1919.

All of the men who were arrested at Carneyville Wednesday were released at 5 o’clock last night at Fort MacKenzie. That may be regarded as the final phase in the coal strike that was resumed in several of the camps Monday.

Sheridan is undergoing a respite today from the extreme cold weather of the previous three days. The highest temperature recorded yesterday was 13 above.

Ted Williamson of Ranchester is in Sheridan and registered at the Sheridan Inn.

The Idlewild cafe will serve turkey and duck dinner from 5 to 7:30 tomorrow night.

The United Store Company has dolls priced from 10 cents up to $10.95.
