A Look Back in Time: Oct. 8, 1917

Now here's Sheridan Media's look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Oct. 8, 1917.


Edgar L. Killiam, field editor of the Baptist Standard, is in Sheridan today for a brief visit with the Rev. J.O. Gould. Mr. Killiam is making an extensive trip throughout the west in the interest of his publication.

Mercer Woods of Sheridan left today for Ucross.

Mr. Frank Smith, whose place is in the Western Addition, today brought in five tomatoes that weighed one and a quarter pounds. The tomatoes were grown from volunteer seed.

Dr. G.H. Buffum will be out of town fo two days, attending the State Board of Medical Examiners in Laramie.

T.A. Morris has announced as a candidate for the office of commissioner of the city of Sheridan.
