A Look Back in Time: Sept. 19, 1916

Now here's Sheridan Media's look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Sept. 19, 1916.


Shorty McDonald has returned from Miles City, Mont., where he was attending a horse sale. He bought 15 head of horses at prices ranging from about $50 upward to $125.

J.C. McLaren, fire expert from the district forester's office in Denver, left today after spending 10 days here on the Black Mountain fire. A patrol of 25 men is still maintained on the blaze.

Tynan's has just received a large shipment of Congoleum rugs of all sizes and shades. Prices start at $1.35.
