The McDonald's on North Main in Sheridan did something special Thursday for kids getting ready to start another school year, as free backpacks were given out to the little ones. McDonald's Supervisor Andrea Storo says that it was just a little something that they wanted to do before the start of school.
McDonald's gave away free backpacks filled with school supplies to the first 100 children through the door after 11 am.
